What is OpenOrbit?
OpenOrbit is a business graph showcasing and connecting businesses through personal and professional connections. Our goal is to help you grow your business by showing you 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree connections you may not have known and highlighting your business in the most optimal way possible with OpenOrbit smart profiles.
Why should I create a business profile?
OpenOrbit business profiles are in essence a résumé for your business. Quickly highlight who you are and what you do. Then showcase why someone would do business with you. The OpenOrbit smart business profile allows you to quickly make, update, and highlight your business achievements which puts your business in the best light possible.
How do I create a business profile?
On the header bar, click on the circular blue user icon. Or go to http://www.openorbit.com/user/register.
What if my business has multiple locations?
You may create separate business profiles for each location, or just create one for the main headquarters. We recommend only creating separate profiles when you have different physical locations.
How do I edit my profile?
Once you log in, click on the left menu bar. Click on "User Account." You will see your profile page. Click on the "EDIT" button. This will take you to your login account information. Click on the "Main Profile" tab to take you to your business profile edit page. Make your updates and changes, and scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the "SAVE" button.
I see my business profile on OpenOrbit. How do I claim it?

How do I find new leads?
Click on the SEARCH button or go to http://www.openorbit.com/list. We recommend first searching by "Business Affiliations" for common professional and personal connections to other businesses. Once you find these businesses, view their profile and click on the blue "FOLLOW" button to keep them on your watch list. Reach out to them mentioning your common shared connection.
How do I best position my business profile to be found?
Make sure you have a complete business profile. This includes have a business introduction video, biographies, testimonials, and referrals. Have a complete profile gives prospective customers a more complete picture of your business.
