A luxury plant-based superfoods company is launching their fall collection of lifestyle products October 5th, 2015.
Superfoods startup, Liv Luxe™ provides luxury plant based super foods and lifestyle products catered to the health conscious minimalist. Founders, husband and wife, Matthew and Jessica West are former psychologists that became parents determined to solve a problem for busy individuals after relocating to a new city with their newborn daughter Liv.
“I no longer had time to take frequent trips to farmer’s markets and make juice every day and it was so frustrating,” remarks Jessica in her on camera interview.
Jessica, a daughter of a world renown Beverly Hills cosmetic surgeon and graduate of the USC School of Psychology, has always been passionate about healthy living. Jessica launched a you tube channel (TheGreenlifeTV) dedicated to educating others about the greenlife, and soon after suffered a life threatening condition exercising with a personal trainer, lost all muscle function in her arms, and faced the threat of total kidney failure. “That accident was a blessing because it changed my life,” said Jessica. Just a month into her recovery, the LA based couple found out she was pregnant, were inspired to continue searching for natural healing alternatives, and Liv was born a healthy baby girl.
Liv Luxe is designed especially for time-restricted individuals that don’t have time or access to fresh superfoods to commit to weight loss challenges, daily juicing, shakes, or smoothies but still desire superfood benefits and a healthy lifestyle. “The last thing busy people need is more stress,” says Matthew, who holds two masters degrees in psychology one from Pepperdine University.
The Liv Luxe™ current super food collection consists of a daily superfood capsule, a fruit infused water bottle, and a 100% organic recycled cotton Moringa jersey.
Moringa is the staple superfood in all of their current and future products. "Moringa is the new kale,” says Jessica. Moringa Oleifera, native to Africa and Asia, is known as the tree of life. It contains seven times more
vitamin C than an orange, four times more vitamin A than a carrot, four times more calcium than milk, five times more iron than spinach, and three times more vitamin E than an almond. “Moringa beats kale in every category except availability,” explains Matthew, “and that’s exactly what living luxe is about, quality over quantity.”
